I sidste nyhedsbrev fortalte vi hvordan vejrtrækningen er afgørende for kroppens stressniveau. Vi fortalte også hvorfor vejrtrækningen har betydning for vores evne til at mærke vores krop og vores indre følelsesliv.

Spørgsmålet er så:

Hvordan arbejder jeg med min vejrtrækning?

I løbet af Totums kropsterapeutuddannelse lærer eleverne en masse om kroppen og om vejrtrækningen.
Her er nogle gode tips til en meditation, der giver en sundere vejrtrækning og øger din kropsbevidsthed:

Ekstratips:

– Start med blot at mærke din vejrtrækning for at få en fornemmelse af, hvor du har plads og hvor du er låst.
– Tag dig god tid til hvert område og slip hele tiden åndedrættet med et suk og en dyb “ah”-lyd gennem munden.
– Brug gerne 10 minutter på meditationen, og brug den så ofte som du har lyst!
– Før du slutter meditationen, så mærk forskellen mellem dit nuværende åndedræt og det, du startede med.
– Meditationen kan også være rigtig god, hvis du oplever tankemylder. Øv dig i at fokusere på det, du mærker i din krop. Det giver tankerne en pause.

Åndedrættet er af afgørende betydning for en kropsterapeutisk behandling – og derfor også noget vi går i dybden med på uddannelsen.
